AT THE NATIONAL CANCER INSTITUTE PAGE 5 2.1 – THE National Institutes on Drug Abuse (NIDA) STEPS IN Just days after the firestorm first started NIDA (with a great deal of interest in and who’s stated mission is to continue with our present day anti-Medical Cannabis Laws) steps in. They request major changes in the N.C.I.’s web-site dealing with the subject. They wish something more in keeping with the President OBAMA’s administrative policy. Subject: FW: concern about information on NCI’s website Importance: High Jeff, NIDA has alerted HIH OD and are asking (hoping) that we can make the changes they request to our website quickly. I’ve reviewed their comments and it seems they are asking for two immediate changes: We could consider some minor modifications until the board meets in may. These could be as follows: . . . . [more] Rick, We (the CAM Board) will be glad to review these concerns and NIDA's infomration and refferences. Are the bullet points in your message all of NIDA's concerns? How were they transmitted to us; is there a letter or email that I can see, and possibley share with the other board members?
