A.H. WILLIAMS MINI BOTTLE
As per an Internet auctioneer’s wording:
A.H. Williams HEMP SEED OIL:MUSEUM NOTE: We’ve run into the A.H. WILLIAMS Co., of Utica, New York, elsewhere and were thus able to confirm that they were a legitimate Mfg. Drugstore. Noted for packaging various herbal products into smaller (retail oriented) bottles. Their end customers were most likely other pharmacies (meaning they were mostly in the wholesale), as opposed to the retail side of the business.
"Hemp Seed" (generic name) - Williams Co., Inc., Utica, New York: (see picture) sold in drug stores. (~1920) A wonderful bottle made by Owens Illinois in the 1920's and NEVER used. Found in a warehouse in Upstate New York, this bottle was made for A.H. Williams Druggists. The company went out of business in the thirties. Cork and label in excellent condition.
HEMP SEED PHARMACY BOTTLE - A.H. Williams wholesale Distributor HEMP SEED old Pharmacy Bottle. Great shape with cork stopper. Label and bottle in wonderful condition.
Also note that this is a small bottle and can only hold about four or six ounces of Hemp Seed Oil.
