Searle & Co. (Chicago Il), this is a neat example of the NEW MEDICINES that began coming out in the early 20th century. Previously to then, most pharmaceutical manufacturers were simply making copies of (Standard) generic remedies, with very little innovation. The label here is quite readable and note the top of the bottle, such caps only started coming out in the late 1920's.
