Early envelope for Cushion Corn Remedy from Clemens Amann, Sidney, Ohio. Envelope is just under 3” long and 1.75” tall and has intact contents.  Top front of envelope shows an image of the corn remedy disc and the Amann’s trademark in red.   Below the disc image it states “Centre disc representing 96 GRAINS CANNABIS INDICA per ounce of mass”.   The envelope is in good condition with minor age toning and a bit of light bending at the corners.   The left side of the envelope states “Guaranteed by Clemens Amann under Food and Drug Act, June 30, 1906 - Serial No. 4018.”   The back side of the envelope is plain.   Neat complete early patent medicine containing cannabis indica.
